There are lactation rooms available in the University Memorial Center (where the majority of the conference sessions will take place):
University Memorial Center (UMC) – A new lactation room is located in UMC 132. The room contains a recliner-type chair with ottoman and a larger, overstuffed-type chair. There are two end tables and a lamp. To access the space, people can check out the key from the Reception Desk. You will need to leave an ID with the Desk.
UMC 411 is an additional private room in the Real Choices office – you can email email@example.com and they will assign a room key which can be picked up at the UMC desk. There is a small window and they have a curtain that can cover it. They also have a mini fridge, snacks, a couch and two chairs.
CU Boulder strives to make its dining centers as safe as possible for guests living with food allergies and intolerances. Conference lunch will be served at the Center 4 Community (C4C) where there is an extensive labeling system called “A9 Identified”. Every item in the dining center is labeled to let guests know if it contains any of the top 8 allergens and/or gluten.
To combat cross contact, dining services provide a gluten free toaster, breads/rolls and individually packaged spreads so these items can be enjoyed without the risk of cross contact. Gluten free packaged desserts are available upon request and our gluten free cereals are stored in dedicated bins. In addition to these specialty items, there are many options at each station in all of our dining centers that are made without gluten.
Daily menus can be viewed online (Select C4C as the Dining Location). Guests can exclude and search by allergen.
