Cycling in Boulder
BCycle bikes can be rented with a credit card at any kiosk location (see map link – FYI there is a kiosk on the west side of the UMC.) The two best options for ASB attendees are either the $8 24-hours “Day Tripper” subscription pass or the $2 single trip “Casual Cruiser” pass.
The $8 24-hours subscription allows unlimited usage of the bikes for a 24-hour period for single trips of 30 minutes or less. The $2 single trip pass allows for a single trip of 30 minutes of less.
*In both cases, the trip between check-out and check-in is charged $3 per additional 30 minutes, so be aware that this can add up! The idea of this service is to encourage short trips.*
The bikes can be returned to any kiosk, it does not need to be the same kiosk you check out from (again, see the map link for kiosk locations.) Also, you can check a bike in and then immediately check it out again to reset your trip time in the case of the 24-hours subscription pass. With a single use pass, once you check the bike in you cannot check it out again unless you pay for an additional single use pass.
9th and Pearl (Downtown, 303-444-4196)
1211 13th (The Hill, 303-440-7771) and 1795 Pearl (Downtown, 303-440-1002)
University Bicycles and Full Cycle are also good bike rental options if you want a different style bike or are looking to keep the bike out for a longer period of time. University Bicycles has a single location downtown, and Full cycle has a downtown location and also another on “The Hill” (the university commercial district).
For those who purchased a parking permit, parking will be available at the Euclid Parking Garage (across from the UMC). You can pick up your permit at registration.
We have arranged for special conference rates at the following hotels and on-campus housing.
Space is limited! Both the official meeting hotel and CU On-Campus Housing are full and the remaining hotels below only have a few rooms at ASB Meeting rates left.
